Award Winning Commercial and Music Video Director
Baldwin's a Group Creative Director with a proven history of building brands. He helped turn Motel 6 into an iconic brand with Tom Bodett. AdAge listed the campaign as one of the 100 best of all time. Corona beer was another client he worked his creative magic on. He and his team's sun-soaked beach campaign made Corona the #1 Import, beating out Heineken. And most recently, Jimmy has been creating crazy award winning work for Crazy Water. A Texas mineral water out of Mineral Wells, Texas.
Along with a successful advertising career, Jimmy, aka The Vivador, has carved out a music career. The Vivador's music is rooted in the sounds he grew up with in El Paso. Rock, Country, Tejano, and Folk. His genre bending music is hard to pigeonhole, but whatever it's called it's rooted in storytelling. Jimmy has had a top-40 Americana record and three first round Grammy nominations and one of his songs, "Peace, Love, and Chicken Fried Steak" cemented him as a part of Texas history.
Baldwin's creative work has been published and recognized around the world with awards including Cannes Lions, Clios, Grammy nominations and more.
